Macro Inventory for Confluence · Last updated 18 August 2026

This policy explains what the Macro Inventory for Confluence app (“the App”) does with your data. The App is provided by ENR Enterprises AS, organisation number 936 788 912, registered in Norway (“we”, “us”).

What the App does

The App lists the macros used across a Confluence space, showing how many pages use each one and which macros are not part of the standard Confluence set. It is read-only. It does not modify, create or delete any content.

What data the App accesses

When you run a scan, the App reads, from your own Confluence site:

All of these requests are made using your Confluence permissions, not elevated application permissions. The App can only ever read spaces and pages that your Confluence account is already permitted to read. It performs no permission checks of its own; Confluence enforces your existing access rights on every request.

What the App stores

Nothing. The App has no database and uses no Atlassian-provided storage. Page content is processed in memory during a scan and discarded. Scan results exist only in your browser while the page is open, and are gone when you navigate away or close the tab.

Because nothing is retained, there is no data of yours for us to disclose, export or delete on request — there is none to begin with.

Where data goes

Nowhere outside Atlassian. The App declares no external network permissions of any kind and is built on Atlassian Forge, running entirely on Atlassian-hosted infrastructure. It qualifies for Atlassian’s Runs on Atlassian programme, which requires that an app use only Atlassian-hosted compute and storage and transmit no data externally. Your content is never sent to us, and we cannot see it.

Data residency follows your own Confluence site’s configuration, because your data never leaves it.

Third parties

The App uses no third-party services, no sub-processors, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. It sets no cookies of its own.

Personal data

The App does not seek out personal data. It does not read user profiles, account details or activity histories. However, Confluence page titles and page content may themselves contain personal data. Where that is so, the App processes it transiently in order to detect macros, and never stores or transmits it. We do not receive it.

Security

The App runs on Atlassian Forge and inherits the security controls of the Atlassian cloud platform. It requests two read-only permissions (read:page:confluence and read:space:confluence) and no write or administrative permissions.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be reflected in the app listing.
